Just a few odds and sods this weekend. Brake pads arrived from Burtons, so they went in.

I'm learning to hate brake pipes. Been hopping under the car and back out again so many times today I could join the SAS tomorrow. The pre-fab lines are all about 3 cm longer than originals, so I've been having to find some new runs to take up the slack.

Front covers went back on the engine after I'd picked up some stainless bolts Friday.

Wire brushes on the sump this evening. It cleaned up nice but I'll be touring with the black and white minstrels this season.

Will spray it aluminium colour, but can't find a good bright aluminium paint. Will end up like the front cover which is "restrained". Must look around the hardware store in the lunch break tomorrow.

I'm really getting to hate brake pipe bending......

Took me about 3 hours to get this one done. I definitely prefer it to the coppertube stuff, but holy sh1t is it tough to bend. Only another two to go. Oh, you can see also where that little white plastic clip goes that I asked about a while back.

Oh, and before you ask, Joe, that's not your servo! I'm getting the brake lines done first before the new parts come out of boxes.

Sorry, from 4 Escorts I've only managed to salvage one and that has a hair crack in it and I'm sure when I go to fit it it will fall into two pieces, and it's the only one I have.
