Your right Graham i am.Its the large scale of things compared to a bike that initially put me off.I'm trying to do the best i can with the little knowledge i have.
If anybody spots anything that i have blatantly done wrong please post or pm me.Its a learning curve for me and i would welcome any advice.

Thanks for the comments chaps. To be fair i think the pics are very kind to my work, its just about ok really.I don't want to go to the same level as my bike resto's as in my eyes it does not suit a car and as stated earlier i just want a tidy car to use.
At the moment i am also trying to finish the restoration off on my 72 kawasaki h2 750.I will post some pics if anybody is interested?

Talking of bikes and going off at a slight tangent i have had a little run on my '72 s1 today. There really was blood, sweat and tears that went into this one!doing these bikes has helped me find out the services and techniques which wil hopefully help with this escort.

                          • I got a call at 11am today to say that my radiator was ready for collection! ..Not bad as i took it in at about 10am on saturday.
He has done a really good job.I asked him to leave it in bare metal as i wanted to paint it myself.

So this evening i have painted it.Not a great photo as it was taken in a dingey part of my garage. It looks good in the flesh though.
