    • I called in to have a look at the shell yesterday. Its been buzzed down all over and most of the repairs have been done to minor dings here and there.I am pleased how it looks with no paint on.
Hopefully it should be something like done in 2 weeks.

            • That's my Navigators car. Its a good, original one (2 previous owners!!) but needs a bit of love. He bought it off the mechanic who used to service it from new!! only thing missing off it is the A frame but Mike has all the lightweight racing bits that were options for it too. We have just rebuilt the engine after the usual water pump leaking issues.

Thanks for the comment's, it really is a good shell so it was a good basis to start my rebuild from.I've got loads and I want to start a build thread but I'm no whizz on posting the photo's, only any good to creating some links to my ficker account.

Plus, never get the time, any spare is spent putting it together!!

P.S I dont think I've seen a UK shell quite that original as yours was, the boot area was fantastic when I looked at it, whist collecting mine.

                • I have rebuilt the ATE master cylinder today and refitted it to the servo.I have been kindly offered a new NRV for the servo by one of the members on here but i don't really want to fit a bright white one as it will show up the reservoir.I will keep my eye out for a reservoir for the future. The one on it is good and clean so it won't slow down progress.

                  • Can't you bring plastic parts up nicely (whiten them) by giving them a rub with toothpaste?

                      • Aye well just a thought, I've not done it myself but I'm sure I've read you can use something like that to clean up plastic parts really well

The hose is on the way by the way.
