collected some angle the local metal shop bent up for me , some 1mm , and some 2mm , will be used around the front screen /scuttle / dash , also maybe used to stiffen up wings / support them
picked up a cheap round headlight grill off ebay , had some damage so have to see how straight i can make it later :
finally got around to mounting drivers side hinge ! , and the tricky task of trying to line up escort bonnet to new hinges .. not bad so far ... had to re-do a few bits .. but its getting there , and stays up !!

Are you doing this as a track car or are you putting on the road , if so how are you gonna get round the legal aspect. Did a cosworth with an escort body grafted on few years ago but after looking into the legal bits it was just used for track.

got nothing done this weekend ! , so hot .. went into garage once and got stressed !
end of last week , i started on the windscreen area,
cutting metal to make top dash rail/scuttle panel
thats about it
i did pull it out the garage for 5 min ,
oh , and finally got a fuel camp / fuel filler neck sorted out
just got to work out how best to join it up to old system

ok , next job before i can finish bulkhead , is to sort wipers ,but before that i need to make the dash fit !
cut the subaru dash back , i dont do accurate !
also welded in some Angle to window frame to mount dash to later
lined cap with masking tape
then some tin foil
then fibreglassed over whole lot
the idea is to pull it out, then filler it as smooth as i can to meet old subaru dash , then re-stick dash covering down ( i just peeled it back )
not very good pic , but was 6am this morning ,
pulled dash out
before i went to work , i masked up the ends , and fibre glassed them up , also went right along back of dash to add more strength to join line
tonight i hope to trim it up , check it fits , and get some filler on it
we shall see...

started building up doors , see what parts i was missing ./ need to make .. got most of it ,ordered new rubbers and screw set.
doors will need allot more work later ..bit rough they are
Nathan came over and helped me pop the front and side windows in , as well as hanging the doors.
again doors dont fit well , and there is no "proper" adjustment , seems like its just a big hammer to adjust
then again it got to hot , so i stopped.
