These are only 40's, I do however need to squire a set of 36mm centuries or machine my 32mm ones out to 36mm . The ram pipes on them are ok but not that pretty looking. May get them powder coated or zinc plated in time.

nice carbs, ive got some 60mm stainless weber ram pipes if you want them, but there off my 45s,are yours 40s?

And the bottom edge
Then made the repair to the bubble
Just need to get them blasted now before re fitting
I also had a good offer on a set of twin webers, they were very cheap and I couldn't turn them down, they look like they have had very little if any use so I snapped them up and sold the dellortos onto a friend. Need some better ram pipes for them really so il keep my eyed out for some.

Had quite a good day on the car today, started by repairing the bulkhead around the heater bowl area and then the return edge to the windscreen
Then fitted a new set of wing rail strengtheners
Then made a start on the scuttle panel, had to repair the top edge near screen and the bottom edge near the bubble but its good now

This is one area that needs looking at around the heater bubble area ended up a bit pinholed after blasting as did the return edge at the bottom of the windscreen where the scuttle panel welds on. Both straight forward repairs and shouldn't take long. Only other bit was a little bit on the rear quarter on the area where the rear light seal sits but again should soon fettle up. Next job on the list is to seam seal underneath then spray sealer it all and hopefully get a coat of paint on it all!!

finished that door off the other night, bare metaled it and etched it up, just need to borrow my friends pin puller now to pull the damage out at the front of the door where the filler was.
Managed to arrange the blasting for saturday so decided it was time to get the shell cleaned out and back off the spit. Had to put the trailer axle back under the front end so i can wheel barrow it onto the back of the truck like i did when i collected it but i will have to be a damn site more carefull this time.
Then decided to start giving the heater bubble and scuttle a clean up as the scuttle needed work and i didnt have enough patience to start the passenger door bottom. Gave it all a good wire wheel inside and out.
Dont no how this hole ended up there as it looked mint here from inside and outside but it will cut out and weld up
Will have to drill the scuttle off the bubble to repair here and i can blast both before re fitting or repairing to get rid of any more rust on the join.
