If you leave it long enough to rest you shouldnt have any sinkage problems.
I left my shell for 4-6 weeks in high build primer before flat & paint
Still looks like it was painted yesterday 8 years later.
Plan on bodging the quarters and roof, high building them up and leaving for a few weeks to sink. I believe it's the primer that sinks into the filler and not the actual filler sinking. Il paint the inside and concentrate on the doors etc while the quarters are sinking if that makes sense

Only one way to get these quarters looking straight!

That's the second skim shouldn't be far away after another good going at with the long block:

Many more hours of rubbing down this morning and managed to get a nice thick coat of primer on

Left it to go off this afternoon and gave it a quick quide coat so I can block it all down again sometime next week. Feels nice that its looking a lot tidier now

Managed to get a few hours in to the car this week. Engine bay not far off a coat of high build now and need to fit top plates. Thought there was a lot of awkward filler work in the engine bay so attacked it first.

Hope to have all the little bits tidied up in the bay tomorrow and all engine bay and rear side of inner wings seam sealed ready for primer.

Now it's on I'm not sure I like it so might have to go back to the drawing board with the colour choice!!

Already got a little wager on with my mate that's doing a mk1 celica, first one to get their car on the road wins the money.
