Cheers chaps . Not touched the car for a few weeks as too busy lately but had a couple of hours spare this evening .
Traced the oil problem to either an air lock in the main oil line from the tank or the dry-sump pump itself is faulty .
It's a Titian 3 stage pump and i had 2x new housings on the scavenge side last time but the other housing is still an old one . When i turn the pump with the drill the oil flow out the 1st housing that supplies the engine is stopping and starting/spitting etc . It passes about 1/2 a litre of oil then just stops flowing . I'm going to force the oil down from the tank tomorrow night with an air pump and then spin the oil pump with the hose off that supplies the engine . If the oil still spits and stops then it's the pump , if it's ok then it was an airlock in the supply pipework to the pump . That's the plan anyway .

A quick update on the oil pump situation . Got a call this afternoon and the pumps foooooked . £577 for a new one or they can rebuild it for less than £350 with the latest spec housings and rotors . They reckon my old main supply housing is too small and was specced wrong from day 1 hence the grief it's been giving me after every oil change etc . They are now fitting the bigger one on .
Morel of the story , don't use 2nd hand old bits and buy decent new stuff . ;Dsigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
