Wasn't allowed to take pics due to a confidentiality contract that is signed before entering the garage
The car as Father says looks stunning and the paint job is unbelievable. Usual attention to detail on all areas and this will be one of the MUST see cars for 2011 or 2012 if he doesn't get his finger out

Thanks for the comments son, was good to catch up, will have some Wagon Wheels in stock for your next visit
Well I think I have assembled about as much as I can with the engine on the frame, got the pooder coated sump on yesterday, plan now is to get some oil in and drive the pump via the dizzy hole (as per Pinto) and see if we have oil to the rockers etc before putting it in the car, engine will lift in from underneath and the TR8 xmember picks up on the original mounting holes where the 2.0 engine xmember came out ...........hopefully
As it is very cold in Whitehaven today, as per usual , and my head is banging, I decided a nice warm job indoors was in order.
So had a go at refurbing the rear lights.
This is the starting point, corroded rear assembly, hard knackered gaskets
After stripping backs from lenses and binning the gaskets the backs were left to soak for an hour or two in Altrans, basically a weakish acid that is excellent for aluminium parts, drop them in and let it bubble away.
And they come out looking like this
The reflectors on these lights weren't over shiny so a quick prime and a spray of silver
