                              So, while I was away last week, Mark gave the underneath a coat of Gravitex anti stone chip. That was the last job that required the roll over jig. Then, this weekend, we've put the wheels on and I've moved it back to mine where I'll be able to work on it in the evenings.

                              Freshly painted:

                              And then we got to the axle:






                              Hopefully, the next time it's this high off the ground, we'll be sitting in it!:




                              So then it was ready for me to take home:










                              And tucked up in my garage - which is tiny in comparison to the barn:


                              Next, it will be going back to Dunnell Engines, where we can try out the engine mounts that we designed and then get an exhaust manifold made...

                                top job mate, thats lookink really good my mate had a group 4 mk2 in the mid to late 80s, the reg was VWL 43R, i am sure his car was first built by malcolm wilson, dont know where it ended up.
