I know how you are feeling Kev, I had a pristine Dolomite Sprint spit back through the 45's and next thing I knew it misfired then the rest is history so I can feel the pain you are going through,The main thing is you are fine, sorry again - Dave.

Just seen this, can't believe it. Quite a special car, one of the best, absolutley gutting.
Very sorry for you Kev. I know how you feel, I have had similar experiences and have moved on to other things. A pretty tough time for you at the moment, the important thing is no one was hurt.
Keep your chin up, I am sure we will see you out in another Escort soon.

What a disaster Frosty, I really feel for you mate, especially after watching the video of you starting it up for the first time recently, what a loss. Must have been heartbreaking to have to stand by helpless.
I hade a fire in my new Sprinter last year and the feeling watching it go up in smoke is not good at all, not my pride & joy luckily, but same feeling.
Have you worked out how it started at all ?
