Car still at the local Ford dealer, still unable to find the fault. i insisted today they get a Ford technician involved, to which they agreed

rang three times, each time the technician was working on it and the service person answering the phone said " i will get him (Technician) to call you back"

central locking linked to the immobiliser ? get auto electrician in to have a few tests done , could be a wire broken some where ?

gj ask him what fault codes i.d.s (intergrated diagnostic system) is retreving and ill see if i can convert them? may give us a clue whats going on! also ask them if the workshop foreman has contacted technical hotline and ask for the f u number if they say they have.

i am going to ring Ford customer services again this morning and see if they can apply some 'pressure'.

see what that achieves and i will probably then make a decision on what next.
