And we are not going to get into the "cheating debate " about turbos.. they are legal ..

This 16v pintos got some torque. It's not even had the cams phased yet for the big "peak" bhp pub numbers

And makes 85.5 ft/lb per litre ...
If anyones got a rolling road graph .. what about putting up your ft/lb per litre figure here .. thers loads of Pintos and x-flows in members cars, so we could have a good average from lots of engines and rolling roads.. this will give you some indication on ...
A; How good your engine really is
and
B; how close to average your choosen rollers are.
Call it a little Forum experiment

They only have different race classes because a turbo is a power adder and therefore cheating !!!!!!!!

Yes rwdrs but a turbo is still a "power adder" and thus increases power and torque cos it stuffs the engine with extra air which it wouldn't normally recieve .sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .

Rolling roads may lie BUT CLOCKS DON'T. Here's a full weight and comfy street legal mk1 escorts time slip (0-105mph in 13.4 secs) running on a cheap set of 175mm wide Yoko A539's . This is on the first attempt with only 215 dyno-dynamics bhp , it will run into the 12's next time out
