  • rolling roads

    took my shedy mk1 to a rolling road near salisbury today, for a check up for coombe track day. it made 157bhp. just all been rebuilt by brettly. real high spec, standard rod's and piston's with new ring's, lightened,balanced etc, with a ht head and holbay cam.

        £50.00+vat per hour, tick's over like standard and drive's fine.but it has still got a tiny flat spot just before it get's on cam.said it would not be worth the time to fix as it could go on for age's. set up rev limiter and could also compare speedo with correct speed.tried timing up and down etc, which moved the power a weeny bit up or down. slark speed racing is what they are called.

                        umm i've had this engine since 1992, just that it need new ring's, some bearing's, valve spring's and 4 valve's same cam.

                            yep good bloke, more modern equipment etc. but nothing wrong with pete at sigma.so the same really.pete does it more by ear this place by readout's
