update on last few days work.............
hired a hoist........
half way in.........
and in...........
fitted new plugs and leads, new coil and luminition kit. fitted exhaust manifold and carbs........
clutch cable, speedo and throttle cables on........
changed oil and filter, primed her with fuel and fired her up. well pleased as she barked in to life.didnt expect it as i kind of guessed with the luminition wiring. no exhaust system on yet so was a bit noisy.
need to sort cooling system out too.
fitted heater, wiper motor ect. all under dash stuff done.
wiring wasnt too bad, easier than i thought. only had a small problem with a bad earth on rear lights, but fixed now. wiper motor would not work at first, kept blowing fuses. traced to bad motor. had another in the shed, swapped it over and now everthing works.
fitted 3 spoke and home made boss, clocks, glovebox ect.....
will try and get carpet in tommorrow, and a few other little jobs done.
cheers.😯
