Got a bit more done today under the pedals where the floor pan finishes the rust continues up towards the bulkhead, so had to add a few strips of metal until I got to some solid stuff, its deffo a lot sturdier now, next job will be the A post and outer sill.

Its been a while Davey since I did anything on this, so i thought i best crack on, that yellow RS you have been doing is looking spot on and gave me some inspiration to get some more done. really happy now the drivers floor is solid, so A post and outer sill are next to sort, then same again on the passenger side.

Cleaned it up a little and put some galvafroid on to protect it until i get round to getting sorting it out and putting some paint on.

tony are you using fluxed/ gasless mig wire?

Yes mate I am at the minute. My Clarke migpro 90 needs a new gas bottle so im on the back up old faithful gasless mig lol. I should go and get a bottle sorted really lol.

Set too on the N/S today, plenty of rot to cut away and plenty falling off too.

Took the door off and a load of crap fell off, that was the outer A post lol

At least on this side I had something to weld my strengthener bar too

Underneath 2 inner sills an old repair lurks, but the floor this was under doesnt look that bad , you can see that the rear section of the chassis has completely disintergated, and other parts of it need lots of tlc too

and underneath the inner sills we have 3 outer sills lmao

This is how far I got today, still plenty to rip out before any good stuff can go back in.
