Managed to source a brand new windscreen today, light bronze tint, £105+ VAT.
Thought that was a decent price as I've seen them for £200+

Thought it was, but it was difficult to tell off my iphone.Originally posted by Jethro View PostYep, its terracotta, or as some call it plantpot

Love terracotta......one of my favourite colours.

It would however benefit from original mudflaps I reckon

Looks a very very nice original standard RS2000. Some very nice original features. Pin stripe around rear lights, Carpet clip in boot floor, etc etc
I did not see that car before, and I would have liked to have a good look at it close up when it was down south. Best of luck with it.
 Thanks Paul.

Got a little bit of work done at the weekend.
After a wash I decided to remove the bulkhead pad and see if there was any hidden delights behind it.
I have to say I was more than happy with what I found.
The bulkhead pad has seen beter days, but it all came off intact with just a few bits cracking off the edges.

Seemed to be a bit of a dirt trap, but nothing that wouldnt wash off.

A good soaking with G101 and a brush, then powerhosed off.

Any other grubby areas in the engine bay got the same treatment, after any electricals were covered up.
Autosmart Alu cleaner was used on the inlet manifold and brought it up much cleaner too
