Roll cage is also comming out so that Me , Wifey and Son can all get in the car together for day trips etc . Also it saves weight and the insurance company can't get arsey or charge me extra !!!

Roll cage out so now plenty of room for family members .
Bled all the brakes and the fronts were sticking on a touch . Foooooked around for hours under the dash adjusting the front + rear brake cylinder rod lengths and it's now fine .
Then noticed a slight damp join under the bonnet where it's been on/off over the years so ripped the old metal brake pipe out foooookin up my freshly finished braking sytem in the process !!! Then accidiently kicked a big pot of brake fliud all over the floor !!!! WTF .
Just need too remake the metal brake pipe , re-fit and re-bleed the brakes again and that's another grim task sorted .
Engine start up next in a few weeks time after i've had a rest , lol .

My mate brought his brake pipe flaring tool round so the metal brake pipe end is now sorted . Just got to re-fit the seats now and then fire it up . I'm going to run the new engine in for a few hundred miles before unleashing the full 8800rpm induction roar on the public waiting at the bus stop , lol .
After it's run in then i'll change the diff ratio ready for the low 12sec attempt which should be easy seeing as my mates car has just done a 12.9sec at 102mph with about 60bhp less !!!

It's alive , BAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRP .
Started instantly 1st turn of the key which was handy . Had it running for a bit then the oil pressure dropped off . Re-primed the dry sump system with the drill and fired it up again . The same thing happened after a few minutes of running so need too shift an air lock in the pipework before i drive it . I can hear the air trapped as the oil pump spins , sounds like farting in the bath , lol .

Just had a tinker with the dry sump system but still having a few oil pressure problems so haven't bothered starting it today . I can't be 100% sure as i can't turn the dry sump oil pump with the drill and see the oil pressure gauge in the car at the same time .
Will wait until a helper is available i think before i try it again .

Dyno-dynamics numbers will be lower than the other sort but it could hit around 240x D.D horses or 270-280x "coastdown" donkeys (depending on which currency you believe) lol .
