              Thanks very, very much for the responce and encouragement.

              I've found this forum topic invaluable, as I've never cut this much out of an Escort before and it really does help to see photos of other peoples projects.

                    Spit jig arrived this morning from Mk2mania so quickly fitted and shell now ready for the underseal to be removed from the floorpan. Next purchase is a mig welder so I can add some metal!!!!!!!

                        Just had my new mig welder delivered, great bit of kit, never mig welded before, now I think I'm Harry Potter with this Weld Wizard!!!!!

                                Just got back after a Week long training course in Germany so spent a few hours on the car today.
