      • Had a chance to weld in the boot firewall fillers today, just started on the firewall itself but I'll need to do a bit of extra fabrication to get it to fit right.

        • I had to add some metal to the pre fabricated firewall side supports to get them to fit to the current turrets. Just need to mark up and drill the holes for the firewall aluminium panel and rivit it in place, but I don't want to fit it yet as I've got to get Rally Weld to stamp their name into it and got other jobs in the same area to carry out first.

Still got plenty of welding to do including fiting the cage, then the fitting of all body panels and all the prep work before paint. I hope to have it in paint this time next year, but sooner the better.

                        • Picked up some more fabricated parts from Rally Weld yesterday so made a start today on strenghening the front strut supports.
I just have to recommend these parts to anyone who is doing the same, top quality, excellent fit, especially the lower "hockey stick" brackets, and cheap!!!!!!!!

I won't be using anything else but Rally Welds products, as I stated the quality and welding is excellent, the fit is perfect with very little adjustments needed. I'm even having parts made as one offs. He fabricates most of the parts that you see for sale from other companies, I know because before I found him I was buying them and paying far more for the same thing.

Sean from Rally Weld is now on this site "rallyweld" if you need anything just give him a call, highly recommended by me.
