I guess not as car never came home today as starter hasn`t arrived.
Nevermind i`m away tomorrow for 3 weeks
My missus will pick it up instead so at least it will be waiting ine the garage when i come home

Well phoned the missus tonight and at long last the car is home ! .

She said it was a bit noisy though and would have been nice to have 5th gear. I said why didn`t you just change up then .
She didn`t know it had a 5 speed box fitted
Speedo cable has stopped working too so have to address that. The main thing is though its HOME

Good news at last. My OH used to leave my old work's Passat in 4th gear and it had another 2 to go...I'd sit there trying to will her to change up rather than be told I'm nagging.
