You'll have that normal ecstatic feeling of getting off the rig after a long hard graft with the added bonus of the car being there waiting for you. Could she meet you at the helipad, it would be great to spot it as you're coming in to land!
Really pleased for you bud.

Well had a busy day in the garage today but had a nightmare start as when i went into the garage i thought the tailpipe was hanging a bit low.
After a bit of digging underneath i ended up with this
Also noticed the rear diff is starting to leak a bit . Anyway cracked on and got all the interior back in and then spent rest of the day cleaning and polishing
The interior before
The interior now
Got her outside for a few more
Thats her more or less done now. Just waiting for my trumpet filters and new speedo cable to arrive then get them fitted and shes ready for next weekend
Going out a run on sarturday and a local car show on sunday so looking forward to thatsigpic

Had an absolute nightmare with the car today
Took it for a run to pick up the missus from her work and o the way home stopped to put petrol in it. Put in 20 litres and i was replacing the gun back on the pump i heard fluid running out of the rear of the car. Looked down and petrol was ****ing all over the forecourt. Turns out that the old fuel return pipe has been cut and just left there. I could`nt do anything but to wait for the fuel to stop.
Limped the car home and took some pics before repairing it.
Feel really ****ed off for not noticing before and the fact i lost £30 of fuel
Removed what was left of the old pipe and have now capped it off at the sender unit with new hosing and a blanking plug.sigpic

Your not having much luck dave.. At least you got it home and sorted.. Better to leak at rear than up front
I would be gutted at loosing £30 worth of petrol with the price of it..
Let's hope you have a good wk end at the lakes, but you may need wellies looking at the weather forecast!Live to regret ..or regret to live.

Well after acquiring some parts at the lakes i`ve been cracking on
Finally managed to get some proper rear lenses (thanks to john murray) so got them fitted. Also fitted my gen ford rear fog light. Never been happy with the finish on the rear bumper so removed that for painting too.
Been busy in the interior too and it wasn`t till i went to fit my mint sunvisors that it shows up how really bad mine were
Before fitting the light lenses and repainted bumper i gave the bodywork a tidy up with paint renovator and i managed to damage the satin black round the lights so that`ll need attended to now .
All nicely fitted but look closely and you can see the mess of the black
Now onto the front , removed all bonnet catches etc for refurbing and also the front lights as the backing plates are really scabby.
I`m also not happy with the finish in the black around the bumper and grill so will be doing this aswell.
