Well you couldn`t make this stuff up.
Just off the phone with the garage and the car wont be moving today
They have the new carbs all fitted and set up and running sweet but the said it wasnt turning over very good. They went to start it this morning to give it a final check before i collected her this afternnoon and the start has packed in completely .
They have a new one coming but wont be here till tuesday, I go away again on weds for another 3 weeks
I guess my first run will have to wait yet another wee while longer
At least its in the right place . I think i`ll go and order a spare of everything for the car incase the garage phones again

It's not too bad since you're going offshore again. Would have been worse if you were off for a couple of weeks expecting to have it back. Next time you're back on dry land the weather will be great and your car will be sorted.

joking aside new starter will be there tuesday so you never know i might just squeeze a run home in it on tuesday if its ready before i go away again on weds

Was in by the garage today and just happened to have my camera with me
Hoping to collect it tomorrow but not holding my breath. Not going away till thursday now so hopefully i can maybe squeeze a wee run in it before i go

Yeah got a new belt fitted to it so took it a spin round the carpet today
