My new WRC head gasket turned up today so i can refit the cylinder head at the weekend after it's all been cleaned up/out etc . I think i'm going to leave the dry sump oil pump for now as i'm not 100% sure that it's faulty . No point in buying a new one just yet until further investigation has been carried out after the classic Ford show .

I tested out the new exhaust on the rollers tonight and it works a treat . A nice gain in power + torque so it should go faster

lol , you nearly die in the wet !!!!!!!! It's fine in the dry though unless you really take the **** in 1st + 2nd gear . It grips hard once you're moving and if using a bit of self control .

Yes it's brilliant mate , foooooook me does it sound good and everyone loves an old Escort . I was wooooing the crowds in the M25 traffic jams tonight , it makes people smile and that's what it's all about .

I sprayed my new cam cover with it's new breather system black with a can as there's not enough time for a proper job until after the classic Ford show . It don't look too bad though and it only took 5 mins !!!!!!!

No mate , i just get in , fire it up and drive . I did do it once with wifey's hairdrier but now i can't be arsed if i'm honest . I've started it about 500x times and it's stll ok though
