      • The wiring isn't that scary Andy, most of it is multiplugs anyway. A good auto spark ( or bomb disposal expert ) will get it sorted no bother.
        Alternatively, a good look at someone elses car (the more stripped out the better) and work out where the bits all go.
        Very seldom is a wiring fault in the middle of a bit of wire, if somehing is wrong with it, it will be a component, a bad joint, or, the harness chaffed through. You can rule out the last one before you fit the loom, so , that doesn't leave much to be wrong with it. Connect it up and see what happens.

                • Best advice is junk any alarms/etc then use the manual ,all wires are colour coded on the drawings ,IIrc the only thing not shown is the inners (lights)which should be obvious.

                  Just keep an hose handy
