dont know if it was a brave or crazy move, but I have the 'new' rust free front now safely clamped in place and all measurements and gaps have lined up perfectly. Hope to weld it tomorrow.
I bought a good strong spot welder so hopefully it will make the welding of the flanges as original looking as possible. will put in the new floors and sills next.
Fair F***'s
No way not for me. I have a pain in my chest just looking at the amount of work you have done never mind what has to do.
Ball's of steel.....Good luck
Got the new front in place, all lined up perfect. All measurments same as original.
Did a bit of repair work on my heater bubble. Repaired inside water shield, primed & sealed inside before welding back.
refitted my own dash. Just waiting for battery tray, need to spot it in place before fitting front panel.
Will attack the floors next.

I abandoned the Hadrian floors and went for 2 expressed steel ones.
great job, they fit well and line up with original production joints.
inner sills come right up to the door cut outs.
one side done , I replaced the plate between the sills at the rear jack point.
started on the rear arch repair now so I can finish welding floor /wheel house area.
Good work there, Escort-tec saved the day for me also with a mint front end. Actually work your doing seams similar to whats been done to mine although didnt have to replace rear quarters just outer and inner arches.
