Hi Robert, I very much admire you for the excellent work you are doing on bringing a rusty droop snoot back to it's former splendure and showroom spec too.

Keep the brilliant work going with plenty of pics if you can. In gleaming Signal Yellow you will end up with a real stunner.

Thats coming on nicely that mate, I`m going to have to do the same for mine so i hope i can source a front end from escort tec aswell as a load of other bits !!!.

Havnt updated for a while. Got all the welding and panels on the shell , then got it blasted and zinc primed.






sealed up the block and did it too , much better than the wire brush.


then heat paint


loose fit the wings, bonnet and nose to see how they line up





Some very fine cracking in the paint on the nose so decided to strip rather than paint over. 1/2 done, horrible job but great result


Not happy with repaired drivers quarter so after months of searching I'm promised a new one, havnt seen it yet but hope its mint. will replace the whole quarter if this one is good.



been doing the gearbox, (got a brand new one) stripped it and painted, new seals etc, waiting on plated parts to come back.
Drive shaft overhauled too , new U/J's and centre bearing.
Diff and axle rebuilt too.
