      • Cheers for the interest everyone, still going I appear to be on a proper enthusiasm roll

before fitting the windows/headlining I needed to sort the rear speaker in the parcel shelf as I'm fitting a decent stereo but all the speakers are going to be hidden (apart from the rear speaker) which is going in the same place as the wimpy henry one I knew this was going to involve some re enginineering so wanted to do it while I had good access

        making spacer up

        done

jigsaw taken to mint parcel shelf !!!

        phew

        painted with crinkle cut paint

next decided to rebuild/refurbish the wiper mech

        before

during, I replaced 2 of the brush's out of another motor due to wear

buftied and regreased and rebuilt with new seals and rechromed spindle nuts/spacers

I then fitted them all up to the car and energised that section of the loom and checked the park etc and they are all good

I then went on to repairing a split dashtop I got from escort tec at the lakes (cheers lads) but forgot to take pics during repair it came out well though and after a sprinkle of Vinylkote and fitted with the aformentioned 6 clock now finished and rebuilt

next up headlining - first bit of soundproofing

thanks to John for coming over and giving me a hand with this as you need octopus hands at times, action shot

loads of clips while the glue goes off

        done

then Mr Hoarder came over and we attacked the windows

unfortunatley the new front screen split so the next day a trip to Burtons for a new rubber and John popped in and we got the front screen in, so I raided some box's and put on some garnish

tonight just been getting a party pack together to drop down to the shotblasters tomorow

        Cheers Glyn

                            • cracking stuff glyn!

is see you took the refurb route on the wiper mech, i did mine but also used extra small o-rings on the top nut to stop water running down in the the bronze bushes to stop them seizing up again.

Also where did you get your roof lining from? mine buggered.

                              Keep up the good work.

                              • Roof lining from Aldridge or East Kent Trim - at least that is where I got mine.
