        • Well I have finally found some time to do some more work on the old Rusty Shell...
          O/S A panel paint being stripped.

          O/S B panel paint being stripped


          Stripping the bonnet;


          You can see the original Bronze in this shot;



          Bonnet in Etch primer.

          And finally I have sprayed the inside of the car in satin black.

                    • Time for another quick update.... I will have further progress by the end of this weekend as I will be working on the car for 3 whole days!!
                      Bonnet in primer.

                      O/S B pillar in primer

                      O/S A-pillar in primer

                      Boot lid being rubbed down, its actually rust free....

                      Lower nosecone X-pack piece, before prepping.

                      and in mid prep, paint was very micro-blistered in places.

                      ...and all rubbed down, just needs some filler in places..

                      Here you can see the original colour of the car on the lower nosecone

                      Nosecone being prepped.

                      O/S door being paint stripped.

                          O/S door lower edge.

                          O/S door all paint removed

                          and in etch primer


                          N/S door (new skin)

                          N/S door prepped for primer (just need to prep the frame)

                          Front of car now in primer


                          Engine bay in primer


                          Some good progress made over the weekend, maybe some more this week, would like to get the lower splitter and N/S door in primer.
