  • A few more hours were done on the "X" yesterday, Richie just seemed to find more rust on the outer inner O/S front wing, all cut out now, just got to put new metal back in.

I spent my time on my back removing all the underseal from the boot floor.. looked ok, the only slight rust was from where the panhard rod had been welded in. Not a very nice job tho, I was covered in the stuff !

Pics uploaded after the next installment.

Been laying under the car today stripping off the underseal from the boot floor, its looks pretty good thanks to the protection... only some surface rust from where the panhard rod had been welded in place.
Here's a few pics.. still lots to do but I only know one one small bit of welding underneath so can paint it pretty quickly.... :?

                          Very small stone guards

They will be coming off soon so I will be able to look to see if they have a P/N.

                            • A bit more welding done on Saturday, thanks to Richie...

N/S strut top.. now you see it.....

                              And now you don't.....

O/S outer inner wing all patched up, just needs grinding back down.

N/S outer inner wing, cut open so new x-member bolt could be installed, plus a little repair where Ford "bashed it" to make room for the 7.5" alloys !!

Just need new strut tops now...Dave..
