"Historically" this site has been about the banter & complete p1ss take of people and their cars. Nothing malicious, just good fun. Sadly, this is no more as people are just too damn serious now. Ffs lighten up.

Many people on here have been subjected to a mauling over the years and they are all still here. Never a moan. Just took it in the spirit it was intended.

Had this conversation on saturday night didn't we mr frost

I don't really have the time to dedicate to a position with notts group etc as job and kids have to come first. However I'll be prepared to get involved and help organise the odd event or day out etc if others get involved too.

I'm sure between us we could sort a few things out this next year and try to get as many cars and folk off here involved.

When this site first started it was indeed like that. There were many people on here that gave FREE parts & other stuff away. I had a free spit amongst other things. I also gave stuff away (still do) I also got all my ratchet straps for free from here. So, I am correct.
The cars were also a reaction of the price they are now.

I have been a member since the start and knew a lot of owners from the eighties we all had something in common and us lads from up north travelled some miles in our cars.don't know about anywhere else but up here I had rich guys suddely wanting an rs2000 because it was the in thing same guys who drove modern cars and used to think as me as a dinosaur keeping mk2s all the years.most of my memories are driving miles and miles with just enough petrol money to get me home to meet like minded guys and going straight to work knackered on the Monday.the price of fuel and economy deff has an impact

I have spent most of my driving life around the "escort" scene. Firstly its global scene and the global economy is making things hard. As far as the UK goes here's an observation for you.

I've been on this site since 2005 (i think) and have loved every minute of it. For two reasons.

First its about escorts and everyone here likes whether its a mega dollar resto or someones daily hack, and everything in between. I've seen good photos and read stories about events I might be able to get to once if I'm lucky but I hang out for the stories and piccy's every year after the event.

Second, the one thing i've noticed is that the stuff being posted is the same just that the group of people is growing smaller. if you look over the last few years there's plenty of "what's happened to?" posts RAB/******** spring to mind. The cars are getting less and less and hte pool of people who own is smaller nad smaller and costing more and more. So if there's less money less people less cars of course its going to be subdued

All of the fun is still here. I love the banter and the fact that I feel like I know some of you very well even though I've never met you.

Anyway to compare and contrast. An escort gathering of any size happens once or twice a year in Melbourne other than that for the sad tragics like me this website and others keep my interest fired.

Anyway that's my rant over. Frosty's still a smelly tramp GJ owes me two years almanacs, ches has ginger pubes and robbo drives a pop with a 1.1 in it and I cannot get the vision of spences bollocks out of my head so stop posting the picture!.
