how about you give us the list of cars you already owned gaz so they can be crossed of a list .....what do you want the car to use for that your escort cant do????? it has to be rear wheel drive.....plenty out there just how deep are your pockets

I've had most of the usual decent performance classics already (911's , Lotus cortina , rs1600 , mexicos , rs2000's , lotus sunbeam , r5 turbo 2 , fiat abarths , integrales , BMW E30 325 , E28 Alpina etc) so going to buy something newer next time without the rust .
Just want a modern classic that's good fun too drive (slides and sounds good) or else when i sell my old cars Wifey will spend the money on a chipboard Kitchen or a 2 metre wide plastic extension !!!

AE86 corolla is cool . Like those Club sport Porsches as well . Lots of newer cars too choose from it seems but i like the CSL and Clio V6 best still .

Yep, 968 is a proper nice car IMO. Look & drive very well...are they really THAT quick though?
Hows about a late model MO30 spec 944 turbo? A critically acclaimed drivers car back in the day. 250brake out of the box and can be easily made to do more. I've been givin serious consideration to one of these myself over the last year or two. Look nice with Cup wheels & a loss of some underside daylight.

E30 M3 is cool but i'd rather get an E46 CSL instead i think .

I had a mint 944 turbo last year , drove well and I would say swift but not a patch on the M3 e36 EVO I had before

Yes those 944 turbos are nice as well but i'd start modding it and i've already got cars in bits everywhere , lol .
CSL , Clio V6 or maybe a sorted R32 skyline with 600bhp are top of the list .
