    Tuscan is a good shout. I've owned a Tamora for seven years and it's hardly fallen to bits at all. Well, not much anyway. It's also worth a decent chunk of what I paid for it.

    Tuscan, Tamora, T350 and Sagaris all very similar, and all holding their money now.

      Might need to budget for an engine rebuild on a Tuscan as the SpeedSix engines had a bit of a bad reputation, though many of them will have already been sorted. I know a guy who has his as a daily driver and it's still on the original engine at 60,000+ miles so some examples manage to be reliable. They do sound lovely and go like the clappers (technical term ).

        That's good then . Saw a red TVR today with see-through rear spoiler and louvered front wing tops (Sagaris ?) . Looked the nuts .

          These are cheaper than BDA Escorts now . Mind you it's probably £3000 for a cam belt .

            I use to re-build TVR's (Cerbs,Griffs, Chimera's and Tuscan racers) and they are worth more money now, Tuscans will probably increase soon because TVR as a car company is now definatly dead.

            But have you got the balls to handle one....................

                Had a a few M3's and still have in stock manual and SMG to date not had one back with SMG issue, there is a pump on rear of gearbox that can be troublesome but not that exspensive to fix now , also alot of people replace that before trying the £3.5 fix which is the salmon relay which solves alot of the problems , Most Looked after example dont suffer from rear floor craking tyou find that the ones that have had the arse cant out from day one and again is not a bad thing to fix did them when they 1st came out for BMW under warranty at bodyshop i was working at the time , CSL is a proper animal as an out the box car the only other thing that is better in my view is the dare say GT3 range but thats at a price , Pound for Pound no better allrounder out there

                  That's cool then . CSL is my 1st choice at present then until 911 GT3RS prices drop some more (if they ever do) .
                  My rusty 1971 Porsche 911 is worth about the same as a 50,000+ mile CSL so pretty much a straight swop hopefully and then i'll flog my others and get a Clio V6 as well seeing as they are so cheap . Both are Motorsport specials so money in the bank i feel . Clio is slow but i like them and as i already had an R5 turbo 2 before i need to get one while they are cheap .

                    I've had an S1 and S2 Elise, both totally reliable to be fair, just make sure they've a good history....easily get 40+mpg too and thats even when spirited driving !!

                        how about you give us the list of cars you already owned gaz so they can be crossed of a list .....what do you want the car to use for that your escort cant do????? it has to be rear wheel drive.....plenty out there just how deep are your pockets
