2 & 3 require no skill & I'd be yawning all the way.

As for trailer queens I'd rather get there burning diesel at 35mpg than driving at 15mpg thank you very much.

iam with windy on this one,, gaz take it easy on the , your not makin much sence son , how many times can you go up the same strip at the same speed ,,, i agree my car will be shite at the 1/4 , but thats my car not me ,, round a track or across open twisty roads i will run with anyone in a similar car,, but i do like punching above my weight ( i cant help it) so you can have your 150 or so bhp advantage and i will give it a go , just not in a straight line ( on 1/4 mile day ive got to watch my lawn grow ) ,,,,,, you know it makes sence ,,,,

Before this turns out to be one big punch up between the street/strip posse and the rally/circuit lot it's best too agree too disagree . This event will never happen in a million years as track racers won't ever come off tracks and be performance tested for acceleration or top speed and just sulk when you mention it . Also tracks have gay noise limits and bans on timing cars so what's the point ?
So the next time anyone challenges me to anything regarding a track then i'll just say fooooooook you very much but poke your trailer where the sun don't shine as i can't be arsed !!! .

And that gentlemen is the reason in Motorport that all varieties of vehicles compete in "classes" against "similar" vehicles and never can differing classes of vehicles compete against each other on a level playing field

Exactely right about the classes in motorsport but i did try and make a few simple rules earlier and i was even willing to let them use their gay trailers to get there . Trailer queens , lol .

There's an awful lot of giving race rally guys stick!

I have no doubt your car is very quick down a strip but lots of the rally cars would be heavier and gearing different etc etc

It would cost a fortune to drive a competition car to some of these events so the trailer queen bit is a touch harsh!

It's all about having some fun I thought?

I really hope you don't get thrashed as your gonna be in for some stick! On this site from some, lol!

the way i see it is this, stick to the one event first then if that proves successfull ie people actually turn up to try their cars on track then organise a rematch at the pod.

get one event done first.

and guys keep the keyboard warrior stuff to yourselves there is no need for it on a friendly forum.

i will of course run it on street tyres and pump fuel ,,, ooohhh that sofa does look comfy ,,

,,,,, foook the drag strip iam of to DFS with my £10 a month i want one of these bad boys,,,,,

all banter and joking aside , please lets not all throw our toys out the pram, it is nice to be passionate about your chossen form of motorsport,

lets see if nick pulls the track day of,, i really hope he does ,, me and my 104 bhp are sat here ready,,

I only gave them stick because they started calling me names plus it's all true anyway , they are slow + scared , lol . Mine's got more power than them and drinks the same fuel so trailer queen action is just an excuse as they can't drive on streets without overheating or deafening themselves , etc . The mag was supposed to be organising 3x timed events for proper street cars but it's turned into a trackday free-for-all for battered trailered shite heaps covered in stickers !!!!
