As above I have got our mk1 Gaz to agree to a challenge on track after all these Years of him saying that qtr mile is where it at ,

I will be speaking with one of the track Day organisers again in the new year to get this set up , will need 20+ or more now Cars must be running Road Legal Tyres and 4 pot N/A this will be like a TOP GEAR style set up , Looking for Escorts, Cortina , Anglia,s and even capri,s doesn't matter what engines as long as there 4 cylinder n/a , No space frame special must be very close to road legal *** NO MK1 GRANADA'S BANGERS UNLESS PRIOR NOTICE ***

Let's hope they've got ear muffs on then as mine's way over 105dbs .
Here's what 270bhp ("coastdown" donkeys) / 228bhp (Dyno-Dynamics horses) sound like in action . BAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRP .

150db is CRAZY loud. It would be painful to even drive the car.

It's ok for me as it's just external noise at 8800rpm (exhaust and induction roar) and not bad inside the car . All the time the throttle is part open (normal driving) then it's not that loud at all . When i open the taps it's loud but there's no noise issues on roads or drag strips so it's fine .

This event has nothing to do with me . I was happy ruling streets and drag strips but the track queens elsewhere where giving it the big one and challenging me (as they can't keep up) so i thought i would teach them a lesson on a track also !!! Ha ha .

Lyden Hill i think . As long as there's no noise issues and we can lap time them with proper timing gear then anywhere will do .
