May as well buy a mint 1100L for 5 grand , stick in a £30 zetec with a BDA cam cover on it and some blue stickers down the side and it will be as fast and look the same as a 40 grand car (just minus the 1800 log book) !!!

10k to paint to show standard ( at least )
20k for engine box axle etc
10k for interior and exterior parts if they can be found.
