    They admit there mistake and say that they will ammend the bill when they confirm with another dept
    This morning I recieved a letter telling me that they will cut off my service if I dont pay the original bill imedatlly

                  Apparently the Post Office does reasonable cheap Internet.

                  If you want to change ISP, just go to TalkTalk if you want the same treatment as you're getting at BT.

                  As regards getting a decent broadband connection, if you can't get a decent ISP, then just use mobile broadband. Works well enough and you don't get stuck into an ISP for two years

                    I am told that sky has a dedicated peice of kit at the exchange which improves things slightly despite having to use the BT line

                    As for Talk Talk,,,,,dont even ask

                      Sorry, I don't care what Sky could offer, I would never give that t***er Rupert Murdoch any of my hard earned, you see what happens to sport or news media when that f****er gets his grubby fingers on anything.

                        father inlaw is on putting satalite broadband in. Bit remote for phone line speed, seems bloody good and quick so far!

                            Costs about 500 for dish and stuff, then you can pay anything from 13 to 200 quid a month dependant on what speed you want. idea is for remote hamlets where houses are in line of site, and one person puts a dish up, then fires it to neighbours houses. and charges them for whatever size they use.

                              bt are the biggest bunch of .... wits ive ever encounted,ive had problems with my work line for over 8 months my broadband has been cut off,because ive not paid the bill ,dosent seem to matter to them that it actually never worked,spoke to them because they are still taking an overcharge on the monthly direct debit for the phone line and they promised a full investigation and a return call within 2 days,that was march!!!!!
                              we,re here for a good time-not for a long time!

                                i use airzone, broadband over a transmitter, works pretty well most of the time, we can't get any other type of internet connection where we live ( 6 miles from the centre of harlow essex ) we lucky to get a phone line, that works in fact my fax lines been down since the weekend, BT were supposed to get it fixed by last night at the latest, still down
