fuel prices are on the up monthly, peeps will be selling cars cos they can no longer fill them up
9 Gallon Tank = 41 Litres. Super Unleaded = £1.38 per Litre. 41 x 1.38 = £56.58 To fill a Tank. Average (For me, 15 mpg) = 135 Miles per Tank. To do the lakes tour including driving up and back = 446 miles or so. Fuel costs for weekend = 29.7 Gallons = 135 litres = 135x1.38= £186.30 in Fuel alone.

All of my cossie powered mk2 escorts have been around £500 per year to insure mate with 12000 miles per year,uk track cover and agreed value of 45tho fully comp
i must admit there must be a limit to how much power a mk2 can handle and sill be thrown around
They can handle anything you throw at them . Plenty of old Escorts with 450+bhp turbo installs and they still drive great (sideways at 100+mph) and have been clocked at over 170mph !!!!
N/A powered Escorts are far cheaper to build than the turbos if you've got less money too spend . A real 180bhp N/A Escort is foooookin fast and will cost alot less too build as you can use a standard leaf spring set up , £50 gearboxes and an English axle etc etc .
Good spec high bhp turbos need expensive body fabrication , big wheels , atlas axles , etc etc and all the proper built cars will be £20-£25,000+ .
Get a ride in a proper N/A Escort and you won't want a turbo car though , trumpets rule in an Escort as all that whooooooshing sounds gay !!!! ............
sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!
