Which Mountain bike?

Going to buy one in the next couple of weeks. Been hanging my nose over Decathlon's Rockrider B Twin 8.1 @ £500 Looks to tick all the right boxes. Anyone have any advice please.

depends what you want it for but If your going to be using it on the road at all get a hardtail

borrow different bikes if possible Kev i jumped in for a hardtail and although its great fun on the trails i struggle to keep with my mates on rugged down hill sections.
it 's ok on the canal but slow on the roads where do you stop ??
