Trade discriptions says an item must be fit for purpose, if not you are entitled to a replacement or full refund.

Cant see why the dealer is being so uncoperative

                        Faults

My daughter bought a new Skoda in 2003.It had an intermittent fault that you could park it sometimes, and it would not start. The recovery services were called out ,and took it to the supplying dealer at Bradford. They then fitted a new ECU,as the machine said the fault was there. She was driving down to the south of France with a 6 months old baby,in the middle of summer,so I asked the dealer if they were SURE that it was cured,It had done lessthat 1000 miles, they assured me it was cured. They got onto the paege between Abbeyville and Rouen, stopped for coffee and then it would not start.Had to be towed off paege by private contracter, then trailered back to Bradford It turned out to be a relay that was supposed to ensure extra delivery of fuel on demand to start, which had failed .Took over 6 weeks to sort, and came back with trim loose, and clips missing in several places, shoddy workmanship too.
