Learn to drive the Impreza then keep that
I drive my Prodrive Bugeye WRX everday, does just over 300 miles to a tank, happy days works out late 28/29 Mpg
280bhp, 4 wheel drive, pulls like a train, totally reliable and it's a wagon so I fill it with all manors of crap
Oh and it tows well too
what about a weasel Golf ?

Anyway, I had a little look at a BMW 320D M Sport on a 57 plate yesterday. Quite liked it but it has done 94k which puts me off a little. The dealer did though offer me 10k Part ex for the Subaru against it.
Off to have a look at an Audi A4 S-Line Avant this morning (If it stops snowing )
I still don't want to get rid of the Impreza though.

Never had a BMW before. Test drive tomorrow (Probably in the snow ) Will see what it is like.
"If" I buy it (or an A4) I will be having it mapped by Simon Coe who did my Golf in 2003.

Face Lift (05-08) Audi A4 2.0TDi S-Line or a 3.0TDI S-Line Quattro if your bugdet stretches to it and make sure its an Avant for the boot space
The Quattro is great for towing and the A4 front wheel drive is better than a RWD BMW in the snowCheers

Whilst I was there, another 2 Subaru's came in for PX and both against BMW's Must be something in the air......................
Anyway, Many thanks to all who gave advice etc. I would have loved an A4 but the one's I wanted were out of my budget range.
