    sorry, wasn't trying to be a c o c k

I'm interested in the comments being made and personally would like people to be able to trailer their cars to shows if they want. But I also agree that this should only be allowed in certain categories and with a possible points deduction if a trailer is used.

Where it also makes a difference for trailer/non trailer is if for example a show is @ Castle Coombe and someone drives down from North Scotland compared to someone driving from Oxfordshi. Surely there is a distinct advantage to the local entrant who may have only done 70 miles as opposed to 380 - 400 miles for the other entrant? Are they at a disadvantage and do we really want to see 30 year old cars doing these sort of journeys on a regular basis?

    Just my thoughts

p.s. nice to see you are back on the site
    Cheers

I've asked this question on RSOC but not had a reply.

Can anyone tell me how the points are made up for the different classes so possible entrants know what is judged and what marks they can receive
      ie.

      Novice 100 points
      Intermediate 275 points
      Standard / Modified / Expert 435 points

      Thanks
      Cheers

your right martin when you drive 300 miles plus you are at a disavantage to the person local doing 30 miles or so but remeber they will have to travel to there show 300 mile away too so its swings and roundabouts!
i dont have any problem with trailering etc but all the classes and rules where advertised in rallye news stating which class you can trailer etc.

i attend the concours meeting after the agm and its allways the same old faces and never the people who complain about the rules etc. if people feel so strongly about these rules then please attend the meeting and voice your concerns. as far as gerard goes hes a top man with top cars but it does clearly state that modified is not allowed to trailer. i personalyy would of liked to seen the car in race prepared class which you are allowed to trailer

novice and int are judged everywhere apart from underneath unlike the rest. the points for novice are lower than the int, cant remember what they are but say if you can score ten for wheels in novice you might be able to score 20 for int, something like that!

Rite here is the facts of it on sunday gerard wanted to put stw in modified but was told he cudnt cause it was traliered and had to go into expert class. After a a chat with alan cox and a few other RSOC members it was sorted for him to go in to modified but wasn't till the end and the results was gave out that it came to light that they changed it back to expert without telling gerard. So he didn't even get the chance to go to race class paul. All I ask if alan cox can confirm why this happened.
