RSOC Concours should be available for all to enjoy and the classes should be encouraging as many to participate but it constantly seems to achieve detering members from showing and the only result will be a dwindling entry list
Maybe things will finally change for the better when the Concours field is empty !
RS stands for Rallye Sport (Fords Motorsport Division) and how the RSOC expects "modified" RS's to be driven to an RSOC show with 5.1 diffs and solid suspension etc etc etc is beyond belief - do Concours organisers not realise what a race car is like to drive when not competing in a rally / track / sprint event etc ?
Also a lot of race parts are "lifed" and is it realy neccasary to wear them out on road miles when such parts are more cost effective when being used in a competitive environment
I know classes have changed but !
Working Class - Must be driven
Intermediate - Owner decides if driven or trailered BUT 15/100 points deducted if trailered
Modified - Owner decides if driven or trailered
Standard - Owner decides if driven or trailered
Expert - Owner decides if driven or trailered

The Engine is NOT happy labouring down the Motorway with it missing, spitting at anything under half throttle which I was told won't be good for it by the man who built it. The Gearbox will make me deaf on the Motorway (as Robbo will confirm) and as for MPG then, forget it
Novice - Driven
Intermediate - Driven
Modified - Either
Standard - Either
Expert - Either.Cheers
