Here's my mate Tonys mk1 escort with it's new 2.2 Harris pinto engine . It's getting a few more little set up tweaks soon but looking good so far . This is on a proper Dyno-Dynamics rolling road and not a shonky old "coastdown" machine so it will go like foooooooooooook .

Tony's got rid of the cheap Ashley exhaust system now and has had a custom exhaust system made with a bigger bore and straighter pipe runs etc . He's also had the manifolds "Y" piece re-done to hopefully improve it's performance .
We're going back to the Dyno soon so we'll see if the mods have worked or not . The aim is to stop the power dropping of at 6000+ rpm and keep it for longer . The car is super quick already with it's thumping mid-range grunt from it's stroker steel crank etc and we're hoping for some regular 12sec 1/4 miles at Santa Pod this year (without slicks or bits missing too save weight)

Not with carbs and a dizzy you can't , it would be alright if he spent £2500 on engine management though .
