I think if we in the 3rd Gear then the test result is not correct. The ratio makes more torque I think. When the snow is gone, I'll test it. I have no car available at the moment. The difference between Wheelpower and enginepower is also too big I think. I have never seen an escort with so much loss. The maximum loss at a
English axis was approximately 15 KW = 20 HP (DIN)
Atlas axis was approximately 18 KW = 25 HP (DIN)
I do not want unrest but I want to know, is very interesting.

On a Dyno-Dynamics machine you use 3rd gear and on a old fashioned "coastdown" machine you use 4th gear . They are 2x different machines so need different things .
Here's an approved calculation for working out estimated flywheel figures from measured wheel bhp on rear wheel drive cars :

Measured wheel bhp + 10 divided by 0.88 = flywheel bhp .

Also don't forget that transmission loses increase with the power level . The more power you make the more you lose in loses before it reaches the road surface . So a car with 100bhp will have less loses than the same car will with 200bhp even if it's using exactley the same transmission parts . Hope that makes sense .

This car is absolutely beeeeeeaaaautiful. I love this car, it just shouts 'fully sorted motor' from the roof tops. I can't wait to see it do a few runs up the strip.
