The first car I can remember was Hannu's Eaton Yale RS1800 on the 79 RAC that started from Chester, the bowing out of the works team in the UK. My dad took me to watch the cars start from under the clock tower when I was 11

I remember like it was yesterday why he told me the escorts were so good at rallying... "its because they can fit so many different engines in the cars"
