  • Lovely! (NOT!).

I took the RS for a spin earlier. Nice day.

Was minding my own business when the car in front decided to do a u turn. No indicators, and it just kept on coming out into my path!

I braked hard, and took evasive action, and locked up the brakes and then......

Bang! The car hit mine hard pushing me into the hedge.

I called the cops, and the bastards (3 women) then sped away.

Thankfully I got their reg. The cops are following it up now, but the car comes from a rough part of the city and insurance is looking unlikely.

Here's a pic. of the damage....My back and neck now hurt. Hit my head hard on the window.

Lakes trip is clearly in the balance now, although the car seems to be driving ok.

    Lovely!

Absolutely gutted for you Dermot. Glad you are ok though. Drivers with no insurance boil my wee wee so to speak. Car looks fixable but will it require a new rear quarter?

Thats not good Dermot, I was over at the brother in laws in Killadysert, just down from Ennis last year and some of the driving was interesting to say the least.

Cops "know" the car. I reckon it'll not have insurance. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Going to bodyshop tomorrow. It may be repairable. I will need some new parts regardless though. I'll be relying on you guys too for that
