Was gutted when I spotted this Dermot but the thread, and hope, looks a lot brighter now - good luck in getting it all sorted, wouldn't be the same without you at the Lakes

I was rooting in the garage and found a "Butlers" rear light. Lens is bad but the housing will clean up (silver pent) and the rubber is v. good.

I need to call the local Rallye Spares man tomorrow.

                Thanks Neil

I'll nab that complete tail lamp unit and lens with rubber. I'll sort graphics tomorrow.

Rear bumper is well out of shape, but may straighten?

There's a Rally Spares place about 12 miles away......he might have one (a bumper)?

....and I must check a big folder of old stuff I have for the car. I may have some double black stripes.....

Hi Dermot, Sorry to read about this but I've been there as well, two years ago and second day out after the winter off the road. This was the result of a lady driver getting married in a weeks time she said! She drove into the back of me and claimed she did not see me! She admitted it and her insurance was a pain to deal with, dragged on a bit. Finally got it sorted with a new back panel fitted by the garage I wanted, and now all is well!

Try Escort Tec for a bumper, that's where I got mine. Had a choice as well. Good luck with getting it sorted.

                      Tim.

I cannot comment on the pinstripes, but I recently bought a broadstripe kit from these so called 'licenced' sellers. The stripe was ok (ish) but the RS 2000 Logos for the quarter panels were terrible. The lines were very very thick and completely wrong, but I don't have any pics to show you what I mean. I would say look around first on the logo's. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=250300056781

There are better logos on Ebay.

I'm confused now. Isn't that DMB's ebay shop? The same people?

I got mine of these people for my mk2 rs2 and they are very good. I'd say very close on the originals that was on my car.

                              not too expensive either

The top scan are the ones I recently got from DMJ. In my opinion, they are miles out from the proper ones below.
