This has been on my mind for a while now. I want to build a coffee table with a difference.
How insane would it be to use a 2.0 pinto engine block, with head sump and internals removed, cleaned, painted and polished as the basis for a table?
I've seen Aston and Ferrari V8/V12's done before....
My idea is to get an oval shaped glass top, and have it engraved with Ford emblem etc, and then have 4 holes cut out so that the cylinder bores (rubber lined) could be used to house wine bottles or tv remotes maybe.
I'd maybe use the blue engine paint, and would definately mount the whole thing on a frame with lockable castors.
Any thoughts?
