Just as well that I got two coats on it today then wasn't it

Back there tomorrow morning for another couple, and then to do the satin black Tuesday.

Then change the gearbox on Weds.

cheers for the interest everyone, done loads on it today, including wasting about an hour on getting the lights working on the LH side, hoping to get it all finished tomorow (edit today !) and MOT'd Tuesday, that gives me plenty of bufty time

We had a "Thrash tune" at around 11pm last night, a white knuckle ride for me in the passenger seat, down some particularly narrow and twisy dark Essex back lanes.

Glyn kept moaning about the back not stepping out enough - he blamed the new sticky R888 tyres for that

He managed to get a bit sideways on a large roundabout - I called him a hooligan and his answer was : "Those blokes at the Kebab van were all stareing - so I had to give them something to stare at "
