Glyn come to see me at work today at about 4o/c to see if i had got him some nuts for his U bolts as i did not have them he then decided to do another job on his car remove the engine and paint the bay i have just got in from helping him remove the engine & box from his car

hmm, might have been a slightly spontaneous decision what with less then a month till the tour, but I do love a bit of "last minute motorsport" I finally finished painting my rear qtrs, refitting the axle and decambered springs, and have rewired the inside and refitted the seats and interior and have been thinking about painting my slam panel since I got the car, as the rest of the cars lovely but the engine bay has always been hanging, but thought I had better do it properly so one evening later with the help of Gary and Rob (who popped over for a cuppa ) I now have 1 engine, 1 gearbox sitting on the floor, plan is to get it all prepped this week, painted at the weekend, bufty all the engine and bits and get it all back togther weekend after next......................................
